3HZ presents// 

3Hz is still going strong; we’ve had a bit of fun already but we’re still not satisfied, which is why this time we’re meeting at Klub pod Kolumnami. Have you ever been there? If not, it’s well worth a visit. We’ll be joined by Vojto Monteur – a guitarist, producer and a man who can coax sounds that are hard to describe from his guitar, modular synthesiser and a whole host of electronic oddities.

His concerts are an improvised journey through textures, noises, resonances and pulsating rhythms – more of an experience than a traditional performance.

Born in Wrocław and now based in Berlin, he is a co-founder of the band EABS (Electro Acoustic Beat Sessions), whose album “Slavic Spirits” achieved gold disc status in Poland. He is equally active in Piotr Rachon’s quartet, and has also performed as a guest guitarist with Leszek Możdżer’s prestigious PADEREWSKI ORCHESTRA, as well as in the SYMPHOSPHERE project, sharing the stage with Tia Fuller and Lars Danielsson. Previously, he was active for many years in the drum’n’bass collective Miloopa. At the same time, he is developing his own solo work, in which the guitar becomes a tool for creating cinematic, meditative soundscapes.

In addition to his concert activities, he heads the Berlin School of Sound at ACUD Kunsthaus and lectures on music production and the music business at the School of Modern Music in Wrocław.
