Not everything of value takes place only on the biggest stages.
Sometimes the best gigs start with a message sent to a friend five minutes before the first song. Someone brings a camera. Someone counts their change for the last vinyl record to buy at the venue. A month later, someone searches Bandcamp because they took a photo of the band’s name on the poster. And the rest make the most of the evening to meet up with friends in town after the gig. Any excuse is a good one to go offline.
3Hz is all about evenings like these.
From the end of August to December, we’ll be moving between Barbara, Recepcja and the Klub pod Kolumnami. Over the course of several evenings, these venues will host concerts, sound experiments and discussions about music. The programme features six concerts and four events – we’ll be discussing the music scene, working in the industry, the history of electronic music and sound systems, and, above all, we’ll be listening to artists who have long been forging their own path.
6 concerts. 4 events. 3 venues. The line-up features artists who are just getting started, as well as those who’ll soon be making a much bigger splash. Anyway, it’s better to be surprised by them live. That’s just six – and yet as many as six – reasons to get out of the house.
