Good news! In 2026, we are continuing the collaboration between the Wrocław Institute of Culture and Klub Szalonych. What will come of it? A series of musical events at Recepcja in the courtyard at Ruska 46!

Jaguar Wściekły Pies (Jaguar Mad Dog) is one of Michał Szczepańczyk’s many solo aliases. Until now, all of Jaguar’s concerts have been improvised electronic flights into the unknown, but this time it will be completely different – Jaguar is currently finalizing work on his first solo album, a significant part of which (and perhaps even the whole thing?) you will be able to hear in preview this evening at Recepcja!

What will it be? Dirty and broken beats inspired by the British scene, rattling bass lines that will give your sound engineer a heart attack, progressive melodies like something from a broken sequencer that can’t play the same thing twice, melancholic dungeon synth passages straight out of a pixel knight’s funeral? Maybe, but there’s no certainty.

Michał Szczepaniec is a Wrocław-based producer and multi-instrumentalist, co-founder of the duos Kadabra Dyskety Kusaje and Gaijin Blues, with whom he has won several awards and distinctions (WARTO Award, Wrocław Artistic Award, New Tradition Festival competition). He is a member of the Wrocław Improvised Orchestra and the Quantum Academy band, and has also collaborated with such groups as Oxford Drama, EABS, Horsy, and Sneaky Jesus. In addition to his regular music activities, he composes music for video games and arcades, and occasionally writes music for theater performances and independent films.
