Open call for Culture of Mobility 2026
Are you active in the Lower Silesian cultural environment? Are you planning a project abroad in 2026? Or are you taking part in an artistic residency, organising a networking meeting with a foreign institution or carrying out research outside Poland? If so, here’s your chance to have your mobility supported. Submit your project from February 2nd to March 2nd and apply for financial support for your international project.

The tenth edition of the Culture on the Move programme is invariably aimed at people from the Wrocław and Lower Silesian cultural field: artists, curators, managers, activists, animators, researchers who individually or in groups want to realise their projects abroad this year.
You can apply not only if you plan to go on a residency or study visit. Individuals (and informal groups) intending to take part in overseas art reviews, festivals, conferences or other events and research projects through which they can develop their skills, present their work and build international relationships through networking meetings are also invited to apply.

Winners applicants will receive financial support of up to PLN 3,000 gross for travel and/or accommodation expenses. Anyone interested can apply – regardless of age, education or experience. A person or group applying for support may submit a maximum of two applications at once.
HOW TO APPLY?

- After completing the form, you will receive an automatic confirmation to your email address.
- Send the necessary documents (min. CV, portfolio) to the same email address in the same thread from which you received the confirmation within 2 working days:
- CV
- portfolio
- cover letter
- invitation/confirmation/letter of intent from the foreign partner confirming participation in the event, project, residency or study visit or a detailed description of the networking trip
- a power of attorney from the members of the group for their representative submitting the Application, a specimen of which is annexed to the Rules of Procedure (in the case of informal groups)
Applications are completed via an electronic form that can be submitted until 2 March 2026. All documents must be submitted electronically by 2 March 2026 23:59 CET: airwro@instytutkultury.pl.

DEADLINES
Recruitment for this year’s edition of Culture of Mobility will continue until March 2. Results will be announced until March 10, and trips should take place between March 16 and December 10, 2026. Applications in Polish and English can be submitted via an electronic form, which will be available until March 2 at: https://instytutkultury.pl/en/culture-of-mobility-2026/.
CONSULTATION
Before you submit your project through the form, it is worth consulting it with us. This will help you avoid formal errors and check whether your trip fits within the framework of the program. You can send questions and concerns throughout the call to: airwro@instytutkultury.pl. We can also make an appointment for an online or live interview at Barbara, the headquarters of the Wroclaw Cultural Institute. Go ahead and contact us on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – the coordinators ask you to contact us in advance and arrange a visit by email as well.
Culture of Mobility program is implemented as part of one of the pillars of the Wroclaw Institute of Culture’s activities, #SUPPORT. Its task is to support the mobility and promotion of artists from Wroclaw and Lower Silesia, and through this to build and strengthen international cultural relations.
