Marina Pietrocola
Marina Pietrocola is an Italian visual storyteller based in Vienna. With a background in International Studies, she focused on the human and linguistic rights of asylum seekers before pursuing a Master’s degree in Arts Management. She works primarily with photography, using it as a tool for community engagement and participatory storytelling.
Over the years, she has designed and led workshops with local communities, aiming to co-create choral narratives that explore collective memory, identity, and place. In parallel with her socially engaged work, she also works in food photography, capturing the cultural and emotional dimensions of food as a language of belonging
