Concerts, Performances, Exhibitions – Abundance of Late Summer with the Guide
Data publikacji:
Despite the summer being in full swing, culture in Wrocław does not stop even for a moment. And the August-September issue of the Wrocław Cultural Guide proves it right!

Here is the record, almost 100-page issue of the Wrocław Cultural Guide. We are pleased to inform you that the magazine is unusually long, as it includes not only the regular issue but also a special supplement. It is a guide to the programme of the Polish Dance Platform – a dance and choreography biennale held in Wrocław that transforms our city into the Polish capital of dance.
In the August-September issue, we continue the sentimental trip down memory lane to 2016. The author of the fifth “Postcard from the European Capital of Culture” is Iza Rutkowska, a visual artist who, ten years ago, began her collaboration with a community of one of the courtyards in Przedmieście Oławskie for the Wrocław – Backyard Door project – and it is still ongoing (pp. 44–45).
Certainly, the length of this issue is also connected to the richness of Wrocław’s late-summer cultural programme. We talk about it in many ways: through conversations, festival recommendations, invitations to jubilees, and guides. In this issue, we also take you (alongside our article partner, Radio LUZ) on a walk along the route of Wrocław’s independent concert venues (pp. 36–38) and invite you to embark on a journey outside Wrocław – to Lower Silesia and further (pp. 47–49).
And all of this, per usual, is completed with a calendar of events, where you can find one hundred events held in August and September. Have a great late-summer spell – culturally!
