So this is the eighth year of artistic cooperation between Wrocław and Dresden! Thanks to the support of the Departments of Culture of the two neighbouring lands – Lower Silesia and Saxony – and the partners from the city’s cultural institutions, we are co-organising another edition of a residency exchange for the printmakers.
In April, Wocław hosted Karen Koschnick, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden, painter and creator of artistic printmaking techniques. In turn, the person who will go to one of the oldest and most important printmaking studios in Europe – the Grafikwerkstatt Dresden – will be announced in June, after an open call for local artists (the call is open until 29 May!).
The residency is organised by the twin cities of Wrocław and Dresden. Exchange partners: Grafikwerkstatt w Dreźnie, Wrocławski Instytut Kultury, Akademia Sztuk Pięknych im. Eugeniusza Gepperta we Wrocławiu, Galeria Miejska we Wrocławiu i Domek Miedziorytnika.
